He further mentioned that America is walking down the path of becoming an oligarchic state.
In his speech, Joe Biden mentioned, “Extreme wealth, power, and influence are taking shape in America, and it literally threatens our entire democracy.” The president further expressed his concerns over the misinformation & disinformation that is impacting American society and enabling the abuse of power.
Biden’s comments were delivered just days before Republican Donald Trump was scheduled to take office as president. He emphasized the importance of safeguarding democratic institutions and maintaining a free and independent press as cornerstones of the nation’s stability.
