Apple is planning to launch a new way to buy products called Apple Upgrade. Instead of paying the full price or taking a normal loan, customers will be able to lease Apple devices through Klarna. A company that offers payment plans to help its customers pay in instalments.
Customers will pay a fixed amount every month to use the device for a certain period. At the end of the lease, they usually have options such as returning the device, upgrading to a newer model, or keeping the device (depending on the program’s terms).
This new lease program will make it easier to buy expensive Apple products because monthly payments are expected to be lower.
In this leasing program, Klarna will play a major role: customers make payments to Klarna, and Klarna pays Apple. This significant step is beneficial for Apple, as it doesn’t have to bear the financial risk if customers don’t pay.
Apple has already increased prices for several products and may also increase the price of the next iPhone.A lower monthly payment plan may help them attract more customers.
Apple’s current plans include the iPhone Upgrade program and standard financing. According to the report, Apple plans to stop accepting new customers for th12ese programs and replace them with Apple Upgrade.

Overall, Apple aims to make buying its devices feel more like subscribing to a service (such as Netflix or a car lease) rather than making a one-time purchase.
