R/GA Appoints Sadie Thoma as Global Chief Business Officer

Sadie Thoma has been appointed Global Chief Business Officer at R/GA. Thoma is leading growth strategy, executive partnerships and AI commercialization for R/GA. 

Sadie brings more than 25 years of experience across business growth, marketing, creative strategy, partnerships, advertising and AI-led innovation. 

Before this, she worked at Google for nearly 15 years, leading several roles, including Director, Ads Marketing, Co-Chair, Americas Sales DEI Council,  Member, Global Business Organization Hiring Committee, Director, Large Customer Sales, and Creative Business Development & Partnerships. She joined Google as Head of US Creative Business Development.

Earlier in her career, Sadie worked at Gotham as Managing Partner of the Global Executive Leadership Team, as a Senior Vice President, Account Management at Omnicom / BBDO and as Partner, Global Management Supervisor at Ogilvy. 

She started her career in Global Account Management at D’Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles. Apart from her advertising and creative field, Sadie is also an Advisory Board Member of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital – ALSAC, founding member of Chief, Founder & Principal

Sadie Thoma is an Advisor,  Board Member, and AEF of the Association of National Advertisers; a Founding Member and Global Creative Council member at Bayer; and a Board Member of the 4As Foundation at 4A’s. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Colgate University.
