Minjae Ormes Appointed Head of Marketing at Wing

Minjae Ormes has been appointed as Head of Marketing at Wing. In her new role, she will lead the market team from San Francisco. Prior to this appointment, Minjae served at LinkedIn as VP of Marketing, Global Brand & Consumer Product, where she drove global community expansion to 1.2+ billion members across 200 countries and transformed Premium subscriptions into a multibillion-dollar business via full growth loop architecture, including email, notifications, in-product, interstitials, and targeting, plus a $100M+ paid budget globally across free-to-paid conversion. 

Before this, she served at Visible as Chief Marketing Officer; there she was the company’s first CMO and built a new marketing and growth operation from the ground up. Minjae also served at YouTube as Global Head of Partner Marketing, as Account Director at Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide, and as Brand Manager at New Media Strategies. 

Earlier in her career, she served at Tribeca Film Institute as Program Coordinator and at NYU School of Law as Recruitment Assistant. Minjae began her career with Georgetown University as Executive/Research Assistant.

She is also the Founder and Strategic Advisor of Bobaestudio and was also the Founder and Consultant of MKO Marketing. Minjae holds a B.S. in Foreign Service from Georgetown University Walsh School of Foreign Service and an M.A. in Cinema Studies from NYU Tisch School of the Arts.
