DP World Promoted Morten Johansen as CEO, America

DP World promoted Morten Johansen to Chief Executive Officer of the American Region, leading the company’s operations across North America, South America, and the Caribbean. He has more than 25 years of Experience in integrated port and logistics businesses.

Before the promotion at DP World, Morten served as Executive Vice President of the American Region. There, he oversaw ports and terminals, logistics services, economic zones, and maritime operations throughout the Western Hemisphere.

Prior to this, he worked at APM Terminals for more than 10 years. There, Morten held several leadership roles, including Head of Technology, Operations & Engineering, Senior General Manager­ Project Operations & HSSE, and Operations Manager.

Earlier in his career, he served as Managing Director at Sogester. Morten began his career with A.P. Moller – Maersk, where he spent more than 5 years as a Shipping Trainee before being promoted to Operations & Intermodal Manager.
